Wednesday, April 6, 2011 ![]() Fashion is universal. Every people have different opinions and interpretation for it. The word itself can be used in many ways. But most people link them to trends and the "instyle" costumes around the world. Sg is improving in the fashion industry since the MFW are held here after Paris and Milan. But where do we stand, as the citizens? Most of us still have those stereotypical thinking of wearing casual and formal according to places. Why would you see places as a barrier for your own style? Why would you strict yourself to just blend in with the others? Im sick of hearing people saying "Wow did you just wore smtg like you're going to town" (direct translation of "wow kau pakai mcm nk gi town peh) at neighbourhood places and on the other hand, they are just wearing tshirt and jeans but the irony is, they still wore tshirt and jeans to town so how do you define "clothes for town" ? Well, yes it's not like you must dress up to go just somewhere near but you guys should learn how to stand up for yourself! You have your own style and your own imaginations of what you want to wear but don't dare to wear because your friends are just wearing smtg casual all the time or it's not "in trend". The thing is, how casual is your casual? What are the reasons to wearing casual all the time? If it is your, thn be it! It's great but if you dress casually just to blend in and not standing up for yourself than you're just plainly stupid. You live your life not to please the others but to be yourself and be great in your own ways! Wear what you like and not what others like. So this pretty must end this post. Idk who read through till the end though.. |
